JORDAN (TRP) – Live television is always unpredictable, but things on a Jordan TV program went where no one thought it would when a politician took out a gun and threatened an opponent.
The shocking incident unraveled in a heated debate between MP Mohammad Shawabka and political activist Mansour Murad after the two men traded insults with each other.
Like all timeless scuffles begin, Shawabka hurled his shoe at Mr Murad and soon after, brandished a pistol at him.
No shots were fired and no serious injuries were reported. It wasn’t immediately clear if the politician will face charges.
