On the verge of getting some booty but you’re fresh out of rubbers… and cash? Well now there’s an app that will direct hot and bothered New Yorkers to the nearest location where they’ll find plenty of free condoms.
In an effort to promote safe sex in a technology savvy world, this week the city Health Department unveiled the NYC Condom Finder Services app which directs couples with smart phones to one of the 1,000 centers where condoms are free of charge.
According to the NYC Health Commissioner, the app is catered to those who are on-the-go and looking to get busy.
“New Yorkers are mobile, so we need to reach them both with sexual health information and easy access to service information wherever they are,” city Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley said.
Centers are located throughout the five boroughs which are stocked with lubricated Lifestyles brand condoms. To download the NYC Condom Finder application, New Yorkers with Android or Apple mobile phones should search for ‘NYC Condom’
Now if they only make a “free meal here” app, I’ll be all set for the Valentine’s Day.
