Uh oh, who was in charge of invitations?
That was most likely the question members of the Mitt Romney presidential election campaign asked about a recent rally at Ford Field in Michigan where a small crowd of a few hundred showed up to support their candidate.
The crowd looks meager and pretty pathetic when compared to a Barack Obama rally held during his 2008 presidential campaign at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
The side-by-side comparisons were brought together courtesy of the liberal blog Think Progress.
In all fairness, the Ford Field seats 80,000 while the XL Center can accommodate over 16,000. It clearly explains all the extra room Romney had. Right? Well, probably not.
