A female passenger got completely naked for no apparently reason at Denver International Airport Tuesday.
DENVER (TRP) – A woman traveling out of Denver International Airport Tuesday caused a ruckus after she stripped naked in the airport’s concourse for no apparent reason.
The incident, which happened Tuesday morning, still has many scratching their heads.
According to airport officials, the passenger was smoking at one point at gate B81 in a non-smoking area and was told to extinguish her cigarette. Just moments after, fellow passengers and airport personnel got an impromptu striptease after she shed all her clothing in the concourse.
It still remains unclear why she stripped. Denver Police tell FOX31, the episode wasn’t related to the smoking issue.
One passenger said the woman went unnoticed for a while, but then stood out like a sore thumb… or an old naked lady at the airport.
“No one really noticed her at first because people were trying to get to their planes. Then, everyone realized she was just standing there completely naked,” the passenger told FOX31 Denver.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she underwent a psychological evaluation.
