John Brennan, 51, was arrested and charged after he stripped completely naked at a Portland Airport Tuesday.
PORTLAND, Oregon (TRP) – Is stripping naked at the airport a new growing trend that I missed? Apparently it is.
A week after this woman stripped down to her birthday suit for no apparent reason, a California man has been arrested for doing the same thing.
However, this guy apparently has a legitimate reason.
According to authorities, John E. Brennan, was taken into police custody and charged with disorderly conduct and indecent exposure after he stripped naked at a security checkpoint inside Portland International Airport.
Brennan later told authorities that he “had disrobed as a form of protest against TSA Screeners” who he claims were harassing him.
After being told to put his clothes back on, not once, but twice, officers proceeded to arrest Brennan who was on on his way to San Diego. He remains jailed on $4,000 bond.
The news of his arrest made it back home to his stunned father who is quoted in saying, “This is quite a shock. He’s never really under any stress. He works for a computer company in California. He does something with the Internet.”
When in doubt, I say blame the Internet. That thing has been causing trouble for years.
