NEW YORK (TRP) – Rapper Remy Ma debunked rumors of her own stabbing death, calling into a New York radio station Tuesday morning where she talked about not only being alive and well, but also being a Nicki Minaj fan among other things.
Remy Ma, who is currently serving an 8-year prison sentence in New York’s Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in connection to an assault conviction, called into the Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Morning Show With K Foxx on New York’s HOT 97 a day after she was apparently killed in an internet rumor.
The Queens rapper attributes the rumor which claimed she was brutally stabbed several times by fellow inmates, to “stupid” people and says she is in fact alive and doing just fine.

Deejay Peter Rosenberg, who made headlines last month after making a derogatory remark about a Nicki Minaj song prompting her to pull out from HOT 97’s Summer Jam concert two hours before the show, asked Remy if she kept tabs on all the trending news in hip hop — including his incident with Minaj.
She not only keeps tabs on it, she said, but was quick to make an assessment of the Summer Jam debacle.
“Yea, it was all Rosenberg’s fault,” she quipped. She took it further by expressing support for Nicki, saying “I like her and I feel a lot of people are jealous of her and just hate on her.”
The rapper whose real name is Reminisce Smith, briefly talked about her husband, rapper Papoose who she says continues to hold her down.
When asked by deejay Cipha Sounds if the opportunity to carry on a relationship with a fellow female inmate ever presented itself, would she be obliged, Remy responded, “Have you kicked off your relationship with Frank Ocean yet?”
Oh Remy, we miss you.
