Mets hold national anthem auditions — Rappers need not apply

NEW YORK (TRP) — The National Anthem is a song we all know but it takes a little something special to perform it with flair.

Despite it being well-over 100 days till Opening Day, the New York Mets are in search for a singing star to belt out the tune when they kick off the 2014 season at Citi Field.

I polished off my singing rapping pipes in hopes of making family and friends proud.
