CHARLOTTE, North Caroline (TRP) – Season 12 of “American Idol” hasn’t even hit the air yet, but that isn’t stopping the drama, the F-bombs and the classic “I’m gonna knock you out” exchanges from being unleashed… and we’re just talking about the judges’ table.
During auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina Tuesday, a cat fight of epic proportions erupted between new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.
Minaj allegedly grew annoyed by apparent insults spewed by Carey, calling her a “gangster.”
The Queens rapper erupts and lashes out at the songstress, allegedly threatening to “knock her out.”

Meanwhile, camps for Mariah and Nicki have yet to release a statement on the drama. TMZ is reporting that producers are now “worried” about the two judges “co-existing for the long haul.”
Time will only tell, and ratings will probably tell another story.
