SINGAPORE (TRP) – Whoever said vending machines don’t need some loving every now and then?
One Coca-Cola vending machine at the National University of Singapore is offering up a free can of coke in exchange for a big, warm hug.
According to Forbes, the machine was installed overnight at the campus and is part of a latest marketing campaign by the soda conglomerate.
“The marketer is using the license afforded by the infamous spoof logo t-shirts to spoof themselves. And instead of money, this machine responds only to the currency of hugs. Specifically, you have to squeeze the sides of the soda dispenser in a specific way to make a free Coke come out.”
Now if we can set up a system where I can hug my landlord to cover my rent each month, I’ll be all set.
